Recycling, Reuse and Refuse Department
The Town of Edinburg provides refuse, reuse and recycling services to Edinburg residents. John Olmstead is manager of the collection program and facility. Garbage will be collected every Monday on North Shore Road and Tuesday on South Shore Road. In the event of a winter storm, or holiday garbage and recycling, the days will be moved to Tuesday on North Shore Road and Wednesday on South Shore Road. When Monday is a holiday, garbage pickup is pushed to the following: Tuesday on North Shore Road and Wednesday on South Shore Road. Recycling is picked up every Thursday unless there is a holiday when that happens there will be no pickup on that week.
The Recycling, Reuse and Refuse Collection Center hours are:
Fridays: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm May - October
Fridays: 12:00 to 3:00 pm November - April
Saturdays: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
